Kid Rock storms off stage at Bon Jovi’s Nashville Bar, blames crowd: ‘I’m gone’
Talk about self-destruction.
Kid Rock threw a tantrum and stormed off the stage at Jon Bon Jovi’s Nashville bar, blaming the audience for not clapping enough during his surprise performance.
The “American Bad Ass” singer, 54, took the stage at JBJ’s Nashville on Saturday, Feb. 8, to perform for the rock band’s keyboardist David Bryan’s birthday — but all hell broke loose when the crowd didn’t react the way Rock expected them to.

Videos show that the “Cowboy” rocker was met with applause when he joined Bryan — who turned 63 on Feb. 7 — and began singing Creedence Clearwater Revival’s 1969 song “Proud Mary.”
However, about two minutes into the show, Rock abruptly stopped singing and instructed the band to halt the performance.
He then taunted the audience, encouraging them to clap and even demonstrated how to do it before throwing out insults.
“F–k them. F–k them. Hey, hey, stop,” Rock said in one video on social media. “If you ain’t gonna clap, we ain’t gonna sing. That’s how it’s gonna go.”

The crowd began clapping as instructed — but about a minute later, the singer stopped again and cussed at the bar patron.
“You know what, f–k y’all. You ain’t gonna clap, I’m gone,” he said, marching offstage.
Bryan appeared confused by Rock’s reaction.

The Bon Jovi bandmate was seen throwing up his hand and talking to another musician as Rock stormed off.
However, the birthday boy made no mention of the incident when he recapped the night on social media.
Sharing a clip from a performance that night, which did not feature Rock, Bryan wrote: “THANK YOU FOR THE BIRTHDAY WISHES! Rocking at @jbjsnash last night with @bigkennytv!”
Rock has yet to address the situation.

Rock’s tantrum comes after he performed at an inauguration event for President Donald Trump weeks ago.
In January, the “Bawitdaba” singer rocked out at the Make America Great Again Victory Rally in Washington, DC. Other performers included Jason Aldean, Rascal Flatts, the Village People and Billy Ray Cyrus, who had an epic meltdown after allegedly suffering technical difficulties.

Following Cyrus’ outburst, his son, Trace, 35, called out his father for his controversial performance and hinted at a family rift.
“Me and the girls have been genuinely worried about you for years but you’ve pushed all of us away. Noah desperately has wanted you to be a part of her life and you haven’t even been there for her,” Trace wrote in part.
“I’ve spent this past year getting to know my dad better than I ever have,” Braison, who produced Cyrus’ new album, said of his father. “I’ve heard stories, jokes and songs that I don’t think anyone else has. It’s an opportunity to tell my dad’s story through music and I’m fortunate to be able to take it.”
He added, “Music, stories and family are the most important things to my dad so to bring the two together is a full circle endeavor.”
