John Legend recently disclosed that her eldest daughter Luna, whom he shares with his wife and model Chrissy Teigen, has become a part of a musical play in school. The “All of Me” singer made a guest appearance in a new episode of the popular talk show, “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” During his conversation with the show’s host Jimmy Fallon, the singer-songwriter opened up about what his kids had been up to lately.
John Legend reveals daughter Luna will play young Nala in ‘Lion King’ at school
John Legend revealed that her 8-year-old daughter Luna landed the significant role of Nala in her school’s theatrical musical production of “Lion King” during a recent conversation with Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” The singer appeared to be quite proud of her little girl and announced the news with great joy. While talking about Luna, he said, “She’s doing like, musical theater at school.” The artist continued, “She’s playing young Nala in “Lion King.”
During the interview, John Legend further talked about his 6-year-old son Miles and his interests. The singer revealed that Miles is “really into sports.” He continued, “He’s 6 years old. He’ll be 7 in May. We play a lot of football, basketball, baseball in the backyard.” The proud dad further added, “He’s on some of the teams at school.”
John Legend then went on to disclose that Miles is “a better athlete” than him. After that, the singer also made some playful remarks about his own lack of skills in sports. He said, “I was very good at music. God was like, “Mnh-mnh, no. That’s not going to happen. You don’t get to get everything.””
Besides, his daughter Luna and son Miles, John Legend also shares a 2-year-old daughter named Esti and a 1-year-old son named Wren with his wife and well-known television personality, Chrissy Teigen.
