Although you might expect that James Gunn will be bringing out a better Superman with red boots and the nostalgic factor, this article isn’t about Superman. It’s about Clark Kent’s partner Lois Lane and the actresses that have portrayed the character.

It was the year 2013 when iconic star Amy Adams made her debut in the role of Lois Lane in Zack Snyder’s 2013 film Man of Steel. Starring alongside Henry Cavill, the world didn’t seem to mind Adams’ portrayal of the character.

That doesn’t necessarily mean that they also enjoyed Cavill and Adams’ on-screen chemistry. After her appearance in the 2013 film, Adams reprised her role in the 2016 film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. She did play a pivotal role in the film.

On the other hand, fans felt that her character was allegedly used as a tool to further drive the story. Several people claimed that Amy Adams’ Lane was shown as a character who would simply be a catalyst for Superman.
