Travis Kelce brought the holly, jolly spirit to the Kansas City Chiefs holiday party thanks to his festive Santa hat.

Kelce, 35, attended his NFL team’s Christmas gathering on Friday, December 13, which was hosted by Chiefs owner Clark Hunt and his family. During the festivities, Hunt, 59, took the mic to explain Kelce’s nomination for the 2024 Walter Peyton Man of the Year award. (The trophy will be presented at the NFL Honors ceremony ahead of the Super Bowl in February 2025.)

“He consistently uses his platform for good, so it is my honor to recognize Travis Kelce,” Hunt gushed in a speech shared via social media by his daughter Gracie. “Since Travis came to Kansas City 12 years ago, he has established himself as one of the greatest to ever wear a Chiefs jersey — and one of the greatest tight ends to ever play the game.”

Hunt added, “Travis has been equally impressive off the field. His 87 and Running Foundation has made a difference in so many lives of young people as it prepares them for success inside and outside the classroom. His partnership with Operation Breakthrough has provided thousands of meals to area families.”

Kelce subsequently joined Hunt on the stage, showing off his signature style. Kelce wore an all-black ‘fit, which he topped with a festive, red Santa hat.

Hunt’s wife, Tavia, also captured moments from the holiday occasion via her Instagram.

“At the Chiefs Christmas party, we celebrated the joy of the season and the bond of our football family,” Tavia wrote in her caption later on Friday. “We’re so grateful for this incredible organization and the amazing people who work tirelessly towards excellence and those who make everything possible.”

She continued, “Congratulations to Travis Kelce on being the Chiefs’ Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee, and a very happy birthday to @TaylorSwift!”

The Chiefs holiday party took place on Swift’s 35th birthday. The pop star has been dating Kelce since summer 2023, subsequently becoming a member of Chiefs Kingdom.

“Football is awesome, it turns out,” Swift previously told TIME in her 2023 Person of the Year profile. “I’ve been missing out my whole life.”

While speaking to the outlet, Swift also gushed about watching Kelce show off his football skills.

“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” the Grammy winner stressed. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”

Kelce feels the same, often attending Swift’s Eras Tour concerts before it wrapped. He even told Us Weekly exclusively in May that the performances were “unbelievable.”
