Singer Bon Jovi and Cuban-American rapper Pitbull have joined forces on the single ‘Now or Never’, a remix of the former’s classic ‘It’s My Life’ which will be released on November 14, according to a statement released on Monday 4, reported EFE.
The new version will retain the powerful chorus and inspirational message that made the original song famous, included on Bon Jovi’s studio album ‘Crush’ (2000), to which will be added Pitbull’s characteristic style of witty and motivational rhymes.
The single is accompanied by a music video that captures the historic joint performance at the show held in Jones Beach (New York), where Jon Bon Jovi surprised Mr. Worldwide, as Pitbull is also known, by appearing on stage to sing ‘It’s My Life’ together for the first time.
Action and chemistry
The visual boasts plenty of action, impressive choreography and the explosive chemistry of these two legends, according to the note from the representatives of the Cuban-American artist, who has won several awards, including a Grammy in 2016.
Bon Jovi, also a Grammy recipient, is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
This collaboration follows the friendship that Pitbull and Jon Bon Jovi forged in 2017, after initially meeting at the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Since then, the two have shared the stage at several events, including a duet at the Hollywood Bowl in California this summer during the concert ‘Keep The Party Going: A Tribute to Jimmy Buffett’.
The ‘Now or Never’ remix is now available for pre-order.
More from Pitbull
Armando Christian Pérez, Pitbull’s real name, began his ‘Party After Dark Tour’ last August in Bristow (Virginia) and, after 26 concerts, he will offer eight concerts in a casino in Las Vegas (Nevada) with a fresh show full of “elegant and sophisticated energy”, and in which he will review his greatest hits.
Pitbull will also be one of the artists who will take the stage at the Latin Grammy Awards, which will be presented at the Kaseya Center in Miami, South Florida, this November.
