Adele is reportedly picking up a new skill to impress fans at her upcoming residency in Munich.
The 36-year-old is believed to be learning German to surprise crowds with special phrases during her concerts.
Adele in Munich, her second concert residency and first European show since 2016, will run from August 2 to August 31.
It’s the London native’s only scheduled European gig for 2024, with performances held twice a week at the 80,000-seat Munich Messe outdoor arena.
A source told The Sun: “Adele has been working on what to do in Munich since April. She wants to converse with the crowd in German.

“And rather than serving up a line here and there, she has been preparing full sentences.
“She wants to make the audiences feel at home and show she has made a respectful effort. But English fans shouldn’t worry. She will be talking about her life and telling funny stories in her native tongue.”
The Standard has contacted Adele’s rep for comment.
Despite tickets being available since January, Adele in Munich has not yet sold out, with standard ticket prices reaching £431 and VIP packages costing more than £600.
The Sun reported in April that many tickets were still available for the 80,000-capacity concerts on Ticketmaster.
A music insider told the outlet that fans were hesitating to purchase tickets, fearing the Grammy winner might cancel or reschedule the event once more, after she postponed part of her Las Vegas residency in March following doctor’s orders to go on “vocal rest”.
During her last world tour, Adele Live, she canceled her final two shows at Wembley Stadium in 2017 due to vocal concerns. Her concerns are well founded too having undergone surgery for polyps in her throat in 2011.
Adele in Munich follows her first concert residency, Weekends With Adele, which ran from 2022 to 2024 in Las Vegas.
