Travis Kelce’s father, Ed Kelce, had some choice words for rapper Kanye West after his new track referenced Taylor Swift’s relationship with the NFL player.

The father-of-two shared a Daily Mail article on his Facebook page on Thursday, after West’s collaborator Lil Wayne name-dropped the lovebirds on their new song, ‘Lifestyle.’

‘I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce,’ Wayne raps on his verse of the song, which appears on West’s album, Vultures 2.

‘Mental illness on full display,’ Ed wrote, seemingly referencing the fact the controversial musician has been open about living with bipolar disorder.

It comes 15 years after West began feuding with Swift when he jumped on stage at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards and interrupted her acceptance speech for Best Female Video.

At the time, he declared the honor should have gone to Beyoncé instead, which launched a years-long feud between himself and the Love Story songstress.

The troubled hip hop artist later spoke her name in his 2016 track, Famous. He rapped, ‘I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / I made that b**tch famous.’

When the Shake It Off hitmaker objected to the crude lyric, West doubled down and claimed he had received her permission to do so.

His then-wife, Kim Kardashian, chimed in by sharing a video of a supposed phone call between the two. However, it was later revealed that it had been edited to back West’s version of events.

‘That took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before,’ the 14-time Grammy winner recalled during her 2023 Person of the Year interview with Time.

‘I moved to a foreign country. I didn’t leave a rental house for a year. I was afraid to get on phone calls. I pushed away most people in my life because I didn’t trust anyone anymore. I went down really, really hard.’

Kardashian later claimed she was ‘forced to defend’ her former husband, whom she divorced in 2021.

However, Swift certainly hasn’t forgiven the reality star for her involvement in the saga, most recently dragging her on the 2024 track, ‘thanK you aIMee.’
