The tennis star sent a note to the singer in the wake of the crowd’s criticism.

While Serena Williams may not be one of the famous faces joining Taylor Swift in Travis Kelce‘s Super Bowl suite, the tennis star is still stepping up to bat for the “Karma” songstress.

While Swift has yet to be seen on Fox’s broadcast, it seems that some members of the crowd at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome, where the Kansas City Chiefs are taking on the Philadelphia Eagles, haven’t had the warmest welcome for her.

Williams took to X not long after the game began to address the Eras Tour superstar, telling her, “I love you… dont listen to those booo!!”

Swift was briefly shown on the jumbotron, causing some of the Eagles’ fanbase to jeer—and eliciting a fantastic side-eye from the singer in response.

Fans of Swift were naturally appreciative of the athlete’s defense, with one requesting she “Say it louder.”

“We love seeing queens supporting queens!!!!” another celebrated, while someone else replied, “i always knew serena were a real one ❤️.”

Swift has previously addressed the critics she often faces when in attendance to support her beau, Travis Kelce, opening up about the “dads, Brads, and Chads” that are personally offended by her presence in her TIME Person of the Year interview.

“I’m going to see [Kelce] do what he loves,” she said, noting that the two “don’t care” about anyone else who happens to be in the crowd. “I don’t know how they know what suite I’m in,” she said. “There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once.”

As such, she has “no awareness of if [she’s] being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”

And with folks like Williams in her corner, we’re sure that hasn’t changed.
