Babymonster, the latest girl group from YG Entertainment, is already on its way to conquer the world with its debut tour — and one member is bringing a surprise hip hop heat.

Japanese group member Asa, on rapping duty, took the stage in Seoul and delivered a live performance of Eminem’s “Godzilla”, wowing the crowd with her energy.

It is not the first time she has shown love for Detroit hip hop — her introduction as a Babymonster member featured her rapping Joyner Lucas’ “Look Alive (Remix)”, and YG Entertainment previously shared a video of her performing “Godzilla” taking during her training period.

The group, formed in 2023, follows in the footsteps of 2NE1 and Blackpink, other successful YG Entertainment projects, with their debut album released in November 2024. Their first tour spans Southeast Asia and includes two US stops, where fans might get another surprise performance from Asa.

This latest case proves the long-running admiration K-pop artists have shown for Marshall. BTS members Agust D and RM have also credited Eminem for inspiring their music journeys, showing the enormous reach and influence Em’s music has.
