Couple of days ago, Hip-hop legend Redman released his new album Muddy Waters Too, the long-anticipated sequel to his classic 1996 album, Muddy Waters.

The project, which arrived on the unorthodox date of Christmas Eve, features a heavyweight roster of special guest appearances, including frequent collaborator another hip-hop icon Method Man, as well as legends like Snoop Dogg and KRS-One. The 32-track album also boasts appearances from fellow ’90s legends such as Queen Latifah, Naughty By Nature, Shaquille O’Neal, Faith Evans, Sheek Louch, Kid Capri and Rah Digga.

Behind the boards, production comes from the likes of Erick Sermon, Rockwilder, Mike & Keys, Rick Rock, Khrysis and Redman himself. Keeping alive a tradition that dates back to the very beginning of his 30-plus-year career, Muddy Waters Too continues Reggie’s flagship “Soopaman Luva” series with a seventh installment that features Melanie Rutherford.

In a song “Dynomite,” featuring Sheek Louch, Redman gives shout out to Eminem, alongside iconic Detroit producer J Dilla, with the following lines: “Brick City militant / J Dilla diligent / Blackin’ out like Eminem / These kids love my riddle and I’m back.” You can listen to the song below:
