The Death of Slim Shady (COUP DE GRÂCE) is set to release Friday.

Eminem unveils the cover for his new album ‘The Death of Slim Shady’ out this Friday

The Death of Slim Shady will mark Em’s first new album since 2020’s Music to Be Murdered By.

The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce) is just three days away, and the “Lose Yourself” rapper raised anticipation surrounding his 12th studio LP when revealing the album’s cover art.

The world was first introduced to Slim Shady with Em’s pre-Aftermath release Slim Shady EP in 1997. Two years later, of course, Em become a global superstar with the culture-shocking rollout of his major label debut The Slim Shady LP, which featured the inescapable breakout hit “My Name Is” and an in-depth deepening of the Slim character’s lore.

Peep the cover art features a surprised face on Eminem — eye open, mouth agape, his hair dyed blonde in vintage Slim Shady fashion — underneath a black body bag, zipped to his neck.

On Monday, (July 8), the video for Eminem’s “Tobey,” featuring Big Sean and BabyTron, was released. The clip, produced by Lyrical Lemonade, shows the trio, each clad in matching overalls, before things take a bloody turn.
