Jennifer Garner appears to be supporting Jennifer Lopez amid her reported divorce from Ben Affleck,

perhaps because she can also relate to what it’s like to divorce the Dark Knight actor.

“She’s been helpful to J.Lo, and they’ve been relating to each other. Jennifer has been a surprising person for J.Lo to talk to,” a source told Us Weekly about their dynamic, saying Garner is an “unexpected ally” to Lopez during this challenging time.

Though there have been rumors of relationship woes between Affleck and Lopez for months, they haven’t confirmed whether they’re divorcing or not.

But Lopez may not be the only one relying on Garner. There have also been reports that she’s been there for Affleck. But she’s not necessarily advocating they divorce. One report said Garner thinks they two could work things through and remains hopeful.

“She fully supports their relationship and wants nothing more than for him to be happy,” a source claimed to Page Six .

“She has dropped everything to make sure Ben doesn’t spiral out of control again. At the end of the day, Ben is still the father of their children, and she will help him however she can.,” they continued.

The insider implied Ben is the one pushing for divorce, while J.Lo may be reluctant, explaining, “If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity. He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he’s come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work.”

Ben’s first marriage was to Garner, whom he met in 2004 on the set of the film Daredevil. The couple tied the knot in 2005 and welcomed three children during their union: daughters Violet and Seraphina, and a son named Samuel.

After a decade of marriage, Affleck and Garner separated in 2015, and their divorce was officially finalized three years later in 2018.

In 2022, Affleck entered into his second marriage with Jennifer Lopez, rekindling a romance that had originally begun in the early 2000s. The pair had been engaged back then but called off their wedding in 2004, attributing the split to the intense media scrutiny surrounding their relationship.
