Fan says Hansi Flick is trying to ‘create Alphonso Davies’ after seeing Balde doing training drill

Alejandro Balde was spotted taking part in a crossing drill in Barcelona training and one fan pointed out that it’s something Hansi Flick wants him to focus on.

Balde’s crossing has not been as good as his other attributes but clearly the player is making an effort to change that.

Although other fans didn’t agree with Anabella’s assessment of Flick trying to turn Balde into his own ‘Alphonso Davies’, they did agree his crossing has needed work.

Thloto: “I genuinely think Balde is a whole lot different player than Davies, he is great in his own way.”

Oyeto: “That’s one thing Baldi failed to learn from Alba… Crosses”

Kaima: “Balde rarely gives any assists in games, I’m happy Flick is working on that. I recall when Alba was scoring and giving assists in big games, that’s what a left back should be doing, not just running around, Marcelo, and Davies are good goal-scorers. Balde can do the same, he’s got time.”
