Issa Reunion! Beyoncé & Miley Cyrus Link Up For Iconic ‘Cowboy Carter’ Moment At Paris Tour Stop (VIDEO)
Beyoncé turned Paris all the way OUT at her ‘Cowboy Carter’ tour by bringing out Miley Cyrus on stage for a duet of ‘II Most Wanted.’ Rumors were already swirling that Miley would be joining Bey onstage after she was spotted at Stade de France earlier in the day. The surprise was finally revealed after all! Here’s what happened…
Beyoncé & Miley Cyrus Bring the Heat To ‘Cowboy Carter’ Tour
On Thursday, June 19, Beyoncé kicked off her three-night Stade de France takeover. Fans were already hyped when clips leaked of Miley rehearsing with Bey hours before showtime. The setlist got a glow-up just for this moment, with their joint single ‘II Most Wanted’ making a surprise debut on the tour. The song wasn’t originally included on the ‘Cowboy Carter’ tour, making this performance extra more special for fans.
“I couldn’t do this without this young lady,” Bey teased the screaming crowd before Miley popped up on the projector. Sis was strutting from under the stage with a fierce pose, okay! “Give it up for my best friend, the one and only Miley Cyrus!” Beyoncé declared, and the stadium lost it. The duo, dressed in matching slay-worthy gold fits, served vocals, country, and chemistry.

Miley Cyrus & Beyoncé Reunite Onstage After Nearly Two Decades
Mind you, this was the first time the pair had performed together since 2008. Miley and Beyoncé had previously joined forces for the Stand Up to Cancer telethon. This was a star-studded event designed to raise funds for cancer research.
The pair, alongside other singers including Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Carrie Underwood, and more, delivered a performance of the charity single “Just Stand Up!” Miley, who was just 16 at the time and still riding high on her ‘Hannah Montana’ fame, shared the stage with seasoned superstars. She later reflected on how Beyoncé and Rihanna treated her like a “little sister” during the performance.
In a 2024 W Magazine interview, Miley recalled being “sandwiched between Beyoncé and Rihanna,” who towered over her in heels, their hips level with her shoulders. “They were these powerful, fully realized, grown women, and I’m pretty sure I had braces on the back of my teeth. They were protective of me,” she shared, highlighting the support she felt from her fellow artists.
