Man Bought Snoop Dogg’s Abandoned Cadillac, This Is What He Found Inside the Car

Snoop Dogg’s 1966 Cadillac Deville Convertible, a once-iconic symbol of hip-hop culture, went from the limelight to languishing in a field. The car, which featured prominently in the opening act of the 2007 MTV Music Awards, was recently discovered in a state of disrepair by Sam, the owner of Hard Up Garage.

Sam, a devoted fan of Snoop Dogg since childhood, found the abandoned Cadillac and couldn’t believe his luck. He had always admired the low riders featured in Snoop Dogg’s music videos—cars that bounced to the beаt and boasted striking paintwork. When Sam stumbled upon the neglected Cadillac, his heart skipped a beаt. Determined to save it from further decay and potential destruction, he decided to take action.

About a decade ago, Sam visited the London Motor Museum, where he encountered the Cadillac in the Low Riders’ section, labeled as Snoop-De-Ville. This car, which Snoop Dogg used during his visits to London and at the 2007 MTV Music Awards, had seen better days. The once pristine interior was now a mess, with white leather turning green and covered in dust and grime. The car, which had once been a star attraction, was now almost unrecognizable.

Despite the car’s poor condition, Sam was eager to restore it. He negotiated a deal and purchased the Cadillac, though he soon found himself questioning the car’s authenticity. The presence of a German flag on the hood added to his cоnfusiоn. However, he decided to proceed with the restoration.

Sam’s doubts were initially compounded by comments on his YouTube video, with one viewer claiming the car never belonged to Snoop Dogg. However, a few weeks later, another commenter confirmed that Snoop recognized the car from his Up in Smoke tour in 2000 and the 2007 MTV Music Awards.

With renewed confidence in the car’s provenance, Sam set out to restore the Cadillac to its former glory. He cleaned it, fixed mechanical issues, and installed a new sound system. He also plans to repaint the bodywork and repair the interior, ensuring the car is ready for its next big moment.

Sam hopes to drive the restored Cadillac to Paris this summer, where Snoop Dogg will be opening the Olympics. He aims to show the car to Snoop himself, believing this would honor the vehicle’s storied history and the journey it has taken from the stage to near oblivion.
