The Philadelphia Eagles’ newly-retired center Jason Kelce had a bizarre fan interaction recently, with his wife, Kylie on his side. It appears a woman verbally attacked the celebrity couple after they refused to click pictures during their date.

Jason Kelce and Kylie have always kept their personal lives away from the spotlight as they understand the dark side of glamour given Jason’s prominence in the NFL. Keeping up with that, the couple headed out for a low-key date night to Steve and Cookie’s Restaurant and Oyster Bar in Margate City, New Jersey.

But a woman, who recognized them, approached them for a picture together on her phone, as reported by the Philadelphia-based podcast, Word to the Wise. The celebrity couple were sitting in their car waiting to get through the traffic when the woman holding her phone moved towards them.

Given, that the whole incident happened on the road, many bystanders shared that Kylie politely denied the request for pictures as she and her husband wanted a low-key outing. But the woman went rogue and began threatening the couple saying they wouldn’t be allowed in the town again.

A video captured by one of the bystanders showed Kylie going toe-to-toe with the woman for harassing them as she decided not to put with such rude behavior.

Meanwhile, Jason was spotted several feet away as he let his wife handle the things. The couple were reportedly “so polite” until the woman began harassing them.

While Kylie handled the fan verbally attacking them, the future potential Hall of Famer fought back against the trolls online, who called his wife nothing more than a ‘homemaker’ after he expressed displeasure over Harrison Butker’s controversial speech. Jason replied with a long tweet to a fan calling ‘Kylie’s home a mess.’

The 36-year-old asserted that he never views Kylie as just a ‘homemaker’ but as his wife and mother of his three children. He said both he and his wife provide for the family and keep their house “the best” as they can.

He further also clarified that he did not “downplay” the role of a homemaker but merely stated that it should be the choice of the person doing it.
