On Page Six, a source said before the results from Billboard, Taylor Swift was “very happy for Beyoncé” when she was named the Greatest Pop Star of the 21st Century.
The source added that Taylor Swift has always supported strong, individual female artists and she affirmed that Beyoncé is very deserving of this honor. Taylor Swift knows that her fans will be upset but she herself does not feel inferior because Beyoncé is a legend in the music industry.
Before choosing Beyoncé, Billboard released a list of the most influential pop stars who have appeared on stage in the past 100 years. In this list, Taylor Swift ranked 2nd. There were also Lady Gaga, Drake and many others.

In real life, the two artists have a close relationship and always support each other
In the congratulatory post, the music magazine said that their editorial team chose Beyoncé “based on her entire 25 years of influence, growth and impact”.
The magazine continued to praise and point out that Beyoncé became the greatest thanks to the combination of gorgeous beauty, perfect fashion, seductive staging, superhuman physical strength and a voice that is both rustic and soaring.
For experts, Beyoncé’s winning the top position is not a surprise because this female singer is the artist with the most Grammy awards in history with a total of 32 wins.
Earlier this year, after winning 11 Grammy nominations for her latest album – Cowboy Carter, Beyoncé also became the artist with the most Grammy nominations of all time with 99 nominations throughout her career spanning more than 2 decades. Many of her songs have charted on various Billboard charts.
