BREAKING NEWS: Pedro Pascal is rumored to play Captain Price in the Paramount-produced ‘CALL OF DUTY’ movie.
Hollywood actor Pedro Pascal was reportedly in talks to star in “De Noche,” the new film from “Carol” award-winning director Todd Haynes. Filming was originally scheduled to begin last year, but was halted due to the unscheduled withdrawal of Oscar-winning actor Joaquin Phoenix. However, plans have now been restarted.
According to Deadline, if negotiations go through, Pedro Pascal will co-star with Marvel’s newest Falcon, Danny Ramirez, in the film. Set in 1930s Los Angeles, the story follows a corrupt police detective and his young lover as they flee to Mexico after committing a crime. The film is produced by New York-based Killer Films.

When talking about “De Noche” at the Marrakech Film Festival (FIFM) last December, Todd Haynes admitted, “What happened last summer was difficult, but this film and the script may be reborn in a different form.” Now with Pascal’s joining plan emerging, the film’s reboot plan has been rekindled.
It’s understood that the producers of “De Noche” include Christine Vachon and Pamela Koffler, who also produced Pascal’s new film, “Materialists.” Pedro Pascal has had a busy year, not only vying for an Emmy Award again for HBO’s “The Last of Us,” but also filming three major films: “The Fantastic Four: First Steps,” A24’s “Materialists,” and “Eddington.”
Next year, Pedro Pascal will not only return to play “Mr. Marvel” Reed Richards in “Avengers: Doomsday”, but will also bring the role of “Din Djarin” to the big screen for the first time in “Star Wars” sequel “The Mandalorian and Grogu”, which has been absent for many years.
