Henry Cavill once shared about his transition from actor to Hollywood fan
Henry Cavill might be a Hollywood fan favorite now, but that was not always the case. In fact, before 2012-13, the actor was flying under the radar of most of the world.
Luckily for him, all of that changed with Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel. With the young star taking on the role of Superman, he quickly skyrocketed to fame. However, just three years after the movie was released, the now 40-year-old opened up about how the sudden attention changed his life.
Most of the world would have expected Cavill to be over the moon with his newfound fame. However, that did not end up being the case with the actor.

Henry Cavill’s thoughts on his transition to fame
For Henry Cavill, breaking into Hollywood took longer than he anticipated. With failed attempts at starring in James Bond films and more, the actor finally landed his iconic role in Man of Steel. Just 3 years later in 2016, he sat down for a quick interview with the Gentleman’s Journal to talk about his upcoming projects. Before diving into that topic, he shed some light on his transition into the spotlight.

“It was definitely a change. There was a large exposure to fame very, very quickly,” admitted Cavill. He also stated that the fame had its “ups and downs.” He had expected the paparazzi craziness and media frenzies around him, so “It was not a complete shock but it was a change.” One that he was not very fond of as it was the price he had to pay.
Although Cavill may not have been too comfortable with the spotlight focusing on him back in the day, it looks like things have changed for the actor ever since he met his long-time girlfriend, Natalie Viscuso.
How Henry Cavill’s personality has changed over the years
Henry Cavill might have been squirmish in the spotlight at one point in time. However, over the years, it looks like the actor has become quite comfortable on-set and off-screen. While some of the credit might go to his travel companion, Kal, for staying close to the star at all times, some credit could also be given to Natalie Viscuso, the actor’s girlfriend, who has attended multiple red-carpet events with him.

With Cavill seeming more comfortable in the center of attention these days, it might not be long before the world sees him take on a role way outside of his comfort zone. After all, he did end up switching things up for his role in the fantasy action film, Argylle.
