Szczesny: ‘If you say no to Barca, it’s because you don’t have the balls for a challenge’

“When the phone rings and it becomes a reality when you have it and it only depends on you, on your decision… You can think, imagine, plan…And you ask yourself: ‘Can I say ‘no’ to Barça?’ And the answer is that you can’t say ‘no’,” Wojciech Szczesny said in his interview with Sport’s Toni Juanmarti.

“If you say ‘no’ to Barça, it’s because you don’t have the balls or bravery for a challenge like this.

Szczesny’s comes with respect to the fact that he already retired from football when Barca came calling for his signature. Although he was 34 when he opted to hang his boots.

The Polish goalie already started training with Barca’s first team and could be starting for the team after the international break.
