Big Meech vs 50 Cent: The Full Paperwork Party See details below.

One of the most unexpected feuds of 2025 had everyone on the edge of their seats. Shocked would be the best word to describe seeing former drug trafficker and street legend Big Meech alongside former corrections officer turned rapper Rick Ross. Ross had always portrayed himself as a Miami drug lord, even going so far as to name himself after a Los Angeles drug kingpin.

Rick Ross mentioned Big Meech in his 2010 album Teflon Don, particularly in the song BMF, where he rapped, “I think I’m Big Meech, Larry Hoover.” In doing so, Ross boldly compared himself to Meech, who ran BMF—the Black Mafia Family, a drug trafficking and money laundering organization founded in 1985 in Southwest Detroit. Prosecutors alleged that BMF made over $270 million during its operation. Their connection to a Los Angeles drug source with direct ties to Mexican cartels helped establish direct routes to Atlanta, where they flooded the southern states with cocaine.

Ross didn’t stop at Meech; he also referenced another street legend, Larry Hoover, the founder of the Gangster Disciples in Chicago in the late 1960s. Today, the gang remains active across the East Coast and the southern states. Hoover is currently serving six life sentences at ADX Florence, a federal supermax prison that houses terrorists, gangsters, and other major drug lords like El Chapo. Meanwhile, Big Meech was released from federal prison in October 2024. Sentenced to 30 years in 2008, Meech had his sentence reduced to 20 years in 2024, with a judge later granting a 32-month reduction. After serving over 16 years, Big Meech was finally released.

What Rick Ross has in common with either of these men remains unknown, as the only drugs he sold were in his lyrics, and the only prison he knew was the South Florida Reception Center, where he worked. Whether Meech linked up with Ross because of the 14-year-old song or because Ross had money for him to maintain his drug lord persona, many believed Meech’s loyalty lay elsewhere.

Big Meech vs. 50 Cent and the Paperwork Party

When it comes to feuds, few are as relentless and unforgiving as 50 Cent. If anyone needed a reminder, 50 recently went viral for dissing Irv Gotti after Gotti suffered a second stroke and was declared brain-dead. 50 ignited the internet by posting, “I’m smoking on that Gotti pack… nah, God bless him lol.” The beef between 50 and Irv dates back to the ‘90s, and even Chicago rapper 600 Breezy commented, “Every day he shows us why they hit him nine times.”

Rumors suggest Irv Gotti was one of the people responsible for 50 getting shot nine times. Known for never backing down, 50 Cent’s latest feud seems personal because, for once, he cared.

Big Meech’s son, Lil Meech, was once known only as his father’s son, but 50 Cent changed that when he cast him in a lead role for the BMF series. With no acting experience, Lil Meech revealed in an interview that 50 invested in him early, even paying for acting classes to help him secure the role of playing his father. Lil Meech thrived in his acting career, stepping out of his father’s shadow. When Big Meech was released, the father-son duo reunited, and fans anticipated great things for the future.

What no one expected was Big Meech linking up with Rick Ross.

A Welcome Back Legacy Concert was posted on Meech’s Instagram, featuring a long list of major artists performing in Broward County, Florida. It wasn’t just the fact that Ross was performing—it was the pictures and videos of them together that set the internet ablaze. Everyone knew 50 Cent would react, and he didn’t disappoint.

50 posted a picture of a rat with the caption “I think I’m Big Meech now.” Many were initially confused about who he was dissing, but it became evident that he was targeting Rick Ross by quoting his own lyrics. The caption read: “His biggest mistake was not sustaining his relationship with Tammy Cohens. Her tell-all documentary reveals the truth.”

Tammy Cohens was once a business partner and close friend of Big Meech but later became a federal informant. Ross fired back at 50 with his own post while promoting his podcast, which many believe was the reason he linked with Meech in the first place. Ross knew that meeting with Meech would stir controversy, which he could then leverage for publicity. However, this move left Meech in a worse position than when he was released.

50 Cent kept the attacks coming, even posting texts from Lil Meech that read:

“They just told me you unfollowed me off Instagram. Now you’re managing Skilla Baby with Rocket, when I was the one who brought him around you first. Now you’re mad at me? I would take the shirt off my back for you. I can’t believe this, man. You act as if I’m your enemy when I’ve only shown you love and loyalty. This internet [stuff] is throwing me off. You know me in real life. Yeah, f** Ross, but he gave my dad some bread so he could afford to pay his bills until our next season starts.”*
