Ronda Rousey recalls calling out Vince McMahon’s close ally for berating former WWE Superstar during her tenure

Ronda Rousey was released from WWE due to internal conflicts with a few of the top officials in the company. She has opened up about one such incident, in which she fiercely confronted WWE executive producer, Bruce Prichard. Since her departure from WWE, The Baddest Woman on the Planet has been critical about Vince McMahon and Prichard.

In her autobiography “Our Fight,” Ronda Rousey wrote about how, on one occasion, she and fellow WWE superstars questioned Bruce Prichard for his comments. She stated that when she was training with a few of the other superstars, Liv Morgan approached her and asked about her relationship with former WWE Superstar, Aliyah. Morgan informed Rousey that the 61-year-old official told a few wrestlers that no one wanted to work with Aliyah, and his comments upset her.

Rousey, along with Morgan and Bayley went to question Prichard about this and voiced their opinion about the incident. Morgan politely told him that they all loved the 29-year-old star and no one had said anything negative about her. The UFC legend also kept the matter straight with him and asked him not to talk about anyone unless they told him to.

She wanted to talk to Aliyah, but since the incident, the latter was never seen again in WWE. The 29-year-old star’s final match was in September 2022, where she lost her Women’s Tag Team title with Raquel Rodriguez. Aaliyah was released from her contract a year later in September 2023.

The match Ronda Rousey wishes she had in WWE

Ronda Rousey has been part of many amazing matches throughout her career. However, she spilled the beans about one match that never happened: a one-on-one match with Becky Lynch.

While speaking at the LiveSigning session, The Baddest Woman on the Planet admitted that the singles match with The Man never took place. She stated that the bout always dangled right in front of her but was never put into the plans. The 37-year-old star even pitched an idea of how she wanted the match to go, but Triple H rejected the idea, as he thought it wouldn’t work with the audience.

Well, I really wanted to have that singles with Becky (Lynch) that constantly got dangled in front of me — I never got to have — which you can read about in our book at OurFightBook.com you can get it at and hear me b—- about that for a couple hundred pages. Ronda Rousey via LiveSigning session

The two eventually met in the ring in a Triple Threat match at WrestleMania 35, which was a winner-take-all bout. Lynch won the match with a controversial pin on Rousey and became a double champion.
