Jennifer Lopez, who co-chaired the Met Gala, has been accused of being nasty and dismissive to a reporter.
On Wednesday, USA Today reporter Anika Reed tweeted a TikTok video showing the 54-year-old responding curtly to her inquiry, ‘Who are you wearing tonight?’.
‘Schiaparelli,’ she said as she walked up the famed Met Gala steps, where she was yelled at by over 20 journalists on either side of the carpet.
Social media users were quick to call out the Let’s Get Loud hitmaker for responding to the reporter like she was ‘a peasant.’

‘Her kindness radiates through the screen. I’m deaddd,’ a third joked.
‘Eww why she have the attitude,’ a fourth asked.
Other joked Lopez seemed like a ‘ray of sunshine’ and ‘bundle of joy.’
‘That’s our humble Jenny from the Block,’ another cracked, nodding the mother-of-two’s 2002 hit track, in which she sings about how she will never forget her roots despite her fame and wealth.
Lopez’s short reply may have been factored by her focus on trying to climb up the stairs in her restrictive gown, which ‘took more than 2.5 million silver-foil bugle beads and 800 hours of hand embroidery to make,’ according to Glamour.

For the occasion, Lopez threw her brunette tresses into a chic topknot to showcase her flashy diamond earrings.
Additionally, the star, who rocked a pair of strappy platform stilettos, carried a Tyler Ellis gold clutch.
For makeup, the Marry Me star opted for a flattering, monochromatic brown makeup look with dramatic, full lashes.

Lopez served as co-chair for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Benefit, along with Zendaya, Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth, as well as Vogue’s Anna Wintour.
Her husband did not attend the Met Gala as he was busy filming The Accountant 2, a a sequel to his 2016 action thriller, in Los Angeles.
Following the Met Gala, she embarked on a trip to Paris with her pal Loren Ridinger.
