Selena Gomez fans think there might be trouble in her friendship with Taylor Swift.

On Wednesday, the 31-year-old singer left a sad comment on a photo of Taylor with all her friends at the Super Bowl over the weekend.

The caption was, “@taylorswift with her friends at the Super Bowl.”

The photo was posted by a Taylor fan page on Instagram and showed Taylor, 34, with pals Blake Lively, Lana Del Rey, Ice Spice, and others as they watched the big game in their luxury suite.

In the comments, Selena posted a sad tearful emoji along with a black heart emoji.

Fans were shocked to see the Wolves hitmaker express her emotions about missing out on the event with her pal.

“We wish you were there too queen,” one fan wrote.

“Omg Queen why the crying emoji,” another commented.

“This is wild,” said another shocked fan.

One follower shared a comforting message for Selena, writing, “I’m sorry you missed out sel but I’m sure Taylor has something up her sleeve for the 2 of you. She is unpredictable. It’ll be OK. Hugs.”

THEY GO WAY BACK

Selena and Taylor’s friendship goes all the way back to 2008 when they were each dating a Jonas brother.

Taylor was seeing Joe and Selena was seeing Nick and they became close during that time.

Over the years they have always appeared to have each other’s back.

They’ve attended awards shows together and Selena has hopped on stage with the Love Story singer during her tours.

Selena also starred in Taylor’s Bad Blood music video.

The duo would happily pose for photos together throughout the years as they celebrated each other’s milestones and accomplishments.

“There has always been this quality of sisterhood, and I don’t say that in a basic way,” Taylor said of Selena in a 2020 interview with WSJ Magazine.

“I knew from when I met her I would always have her back. In my life, I have the ability to forgive people who have hurt me. But I don’t know if I can forgive someone who hurts her.”

In the same piece, Selena revealed, “There’s so much of my friendship with Taylor that people don’t know about because we don’t necessarily feel the need to post about everything we do.

“She has showed up for me in ways that I would have never expected. Flown in because I was hurt and was going through something. Stuff that was going on with my family.

“It’s been proven year after year and in every moment of my life that she is one of my best friends in the world. We don’t agree on everything, but we respect each other with everything.”

The last time the duo were pictured together was at the 2024 Golden Globes last month.

The two friends were seen deep in conversation with Miles Teller’s wife Keleigh.

The clip went viral, with the trio seemingly gossiping about something that had happened and fans suspected they were discussing Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet.
