Claims of Kid Rock and Blake Shelton going on a Non-Woke Red States Tour debunked (Image via Getty Images)
Claims of Blake Shelton and Kid Rock going on a “Non-Woke” Red States only tour spread rapidly across Facebook. This comes after Donald Trump emerged victorious in the presidential elections. Despite reports of the singing duo only hitting the Red States going viral online, it is worth noting that it is not true.
Facebook page called The Patriots Network uploaded a social media post on November 12 that included a picture of Kid Rock. The page wrote in the caption:
“Blake Shelton and Kid Rock Launch ‘Non-Woke- Red States Tour, “Let’s Rock Red America”
The Facebook post amassed nearly 20,000 reactions, over 1000 comments, and more than 920 shares.
Website SpaceX Mania also reported on the same, with them claiming that the two artists said in a statement:
“No slogans about saving the planet, no PSAs on on inclusivity- just two artists ready to deliver an old-fashioned show that celebrates what they call “American values.””
The website also reported that the duo would not be performing in popular cities like New York and California.
Despite Kid Rock being an ardent supporter of Donald Trump, it is worth noting that the claims going viral are not true. The page through which the news originated confirmed that the reports were fictional and not real.
Kid Rock and Blake Shelton are not going on a ‘Non-Woke’ Red States Tour
The Patriots Network confirmed in their Facebook post itself that the news was satirical in nature. They mentioned that the quote in the picture of the post was “fictional.” Furthermore, if one reads the “Intro” section of the Facebook page, they read:
“The Patriots Network is a Network of Satire and Parody affiliated with SpacexMania.com.”
When one looks at the ‘About Us’ section of SpaceX Mania, the page reads:
“Our mission? To bring you the freshest fake news, some sassy analysis, and a good dose of satire, all rolled into one crazy concoction that orbits around Elon Musk and everything that’s lighting up the viral/trending charts.”
Furthermore, neither Blake Shelton nor Kid Rock confirmed on their social media platforms that they were going on a “Non-Woke” tour.
Hence, it is safe to say that the claims are false.
Meanwhile, Kid Rock endorsed Donald Trump during his presidential campaign. He also took to Instagram to share his excitement over the Republican winning the elections for the second time. He said on Instagram:
“First off, let me convey to my family, friends and supporters, that now is not the time to gloat. We must remember that most of our left-leaning friends are good people who want the same things in life that we do, but simply think differently on how to get there. It is now time to be the biggest man, to extend an olive branch and unite all reasonable people of this great nation.”
Blake Shelton has remained silent about his politics for years now. However, he did comment on Trump in 2016 during a Billboard interview by saying:
“Whether you love him or hate him, he says what he thinks, and he has proven that you don’t always have to be so afraid.”
However, Shelton has not yet reacted to the 2024 election results.
