CARDI B JUST SHARED A PHOTO OF HER EXTREMELY SWOLLEN FEET AS A SIDE EFFECT OF PLASTIC SURGERY

In May, Cardi B-whose real name is actually Belcalis Almanzar (who knew?!)-canceled several shows due to issues with her recent plastic surgeries. But now, she’s showing her fans exactly why she had to cancel those shows-and it looks painful AF.

In a video posted to Instagram Stories Saturday, Cardi shared a closeup of her extremely swollen feet and ankles. The swelling was so bad, you can see imprints from her shoe straps in her skin (ouch!).
“Look how swollen my feet get every time I take flights,” Cardi wrote. “My stomach gets even more puffy.”
Turns out, the swelling is a side effect from Cardi B’s plastic surgeries (she had liposuction and a breast augmentation recently), which forced her to cancel a few concerts earlier in May.
But this isn’t the first time Cardi has revealed her plastic surgery side effects. Shortly after having to cancel appearances, Cardi took to Instagram Stories to let her fans know exactly what was going on.
“My doctor was like, ‘Yo, you cannot be doing all these shows because you’re not fully healed,’” Cardi said in the video. She then went into details about the intense side effect she’s dealing with. “I gotta get better,” she said. “The way that my body be swelling up when I catch planes and s-, it’s so scary that I be freaking out. Like I really be freaking out.”
And tbh, by the looks of her swollen feet, I don’t blame her. While Cardi was forced to cancel all performances in May, it looks like she’s back on stage again, most recently performing at radio station Hot97’s Summer Jam on June 2. Here’s to hoping she continues to feel better.
