Sixty-nine-year-old Ana Obregon became a mum last year. After the death of her deceased son, she used his sᴘᴇʀᴍ to have another child. Now she tells everyone that her daughter is a copy of her father.
Anna’s son died of cancer in 2020 at the age of 27 and had a sᴘᴇʀᴍ sample frozen before he left, hoping to one day become a father. The mother wanted to fulfill Alesso’s last wish, so she used a sample of his sᴘᴇʀᴍ so that she could have a baby through a surrogate mother.
In March last year, little Anita was born, and the little girl just celebrated her first birthday. Ana said of her that she was a faithful copy of her father.
In her social media post, she wrote, “Anita, you’re one year old today. I can only thank you for filling my heart with light immersed in the deepest darkness and crippled with immense pain. Thank you for your smile, babbling, crawling and first steps. Thank you for looking at me with the same love your father looked at me.”
She further stated that Anita is a copy of both her father and Anna’s deceased son. “One day I will tell you what your father was like, noble, generous, courageous, supportive, funny, loving, with a crazy tenderness that instilled love in all of us who were lucky enough to love him. You will be the same, Anita,” she added.
Ana confirmed who little Anita’s biological father is and revealed that she adopted her after birth and is now her legal mother. The baby girl was born in a hospital in Miami, USA, and her biological mother is likely a Cuban living in Florida.
Ana decided to undergo the surrogacy process in the US because surrogacy is illegal in Spain, but adopting a foreign-born child is legal. Ana also stated that she plans to welcome more of Aless’s children into the world because she would like to fulfill his last wish. He himself wanted to have five children.
