The threat of beef seems to have escaped the bounds of the rap world and has now reached the NBA.

The Hall of Famer of the NBA took on the most controversial figure of the NFL in a spat that has turned ugly. And where beef is concerned, the presence of Antonio Brown is almost inevitable.

Shannon Sharpe took it personally when Shaq confronted Nikolai Jokic on his recently crowned MVP of the Year status. According to the NFL legend, Shaq came off as bitter and envious since he couldn’t ever reach the heights of Jokic’s career. In response, Shaq let loose a fiery rant about how Sharpe has never been considered even as a top 10 NFL player. This remark especially pleased Brown and he let it be known that he was on Shaq’s side.

Antonio Brown bashes Sharpe as he chooses to align with Shaq

As per Antonio Brown’s tweet on 10th May, he has again given his share of a controversial opinion in a matter that didn’t concern him. The Shaquille’ O Neal and Shannon Sharpe beef has been a big subject in the internet world these days and if it weren’t scandalous enough, Brown added himself to the mix.

Brown’s tweet read, “Good to see @SHAQ b**** slap the rainbow” The rainbow comment that Brown made comes from an earlier video of Sharpe where he was questioned for his sexuality due to the way he supposedly walked.

Now that Brown has invoked the problematic word yet again, it will be interesting to see whether Sharpe chooses to address Brown’s words and clap back with a brutal response since social media beefs rarely ever go short-lived. With all that said, here’s a brief look at the lengthy set of spiteful comments that Shaq had to make about Sharpe on Instagram.

Shaq takes his gloves off amid the war against Shannon Sharpe

The entire world of basketball considers Shaq to be one of the top 10 players in the sport. And it wasn’t just his huge size and athleticism that commandeered his respect in the league, it was also his cutthroat mentality. As such, Sharpe ended up poking the sleeping bear when he made those remarks about his feelings of jealousy.

In an Instagram post that stretched far and wide, Shaq had all the smoke for the former TE for the Denver Broncos. Shaq wrote, “4 rings three finals Mvp top 50 and top 75. google me. and to b quite frank all this new success you got, you still under me. u don’t kno my work ethic. but according i work less than you but im worth more than you. make it make sense. love you too.

This is just an excerpt of the entire rant, but Shaq made it evident that he is greater than the entirety of Sharpe’s career and even named his set of trophies to prove a point. It will be interesting to see how Sharpe follows it up since it doesn’t feel like the war of words has seen its end yet.
