Reba McEntire, 69 – who joined the cast last season following Blake Shelton’s departure – announced in a pre-recorded video that she is returning to her red chair.

She also revealed that Blake’s wife Voice veteran Gwen Stefani, 54, and rapper Snoop Dogg, 52, will be a coach next season.

Snoop Dogg then appeared on stage to say a few words before announcing Michael Bublé, 48, as the fourth coach.

Michael also came out and performed for the packed crowd.

The singing competition show changed things up for Season 25 with the addition of its first double chair for country music duo Dan + Shay.

They sit alongside John Legend, 45, Reba, and Chance the Rapper, 31.

CHANGE IS A GOOD THING

Many fans were shocked by the selection, but mainly by the return of Reba, who hasn’t been a fan-favorite.

Some social media users voiced their thoughts about the Fancy singer securing a coach’s spot, claiming she wasn’t the best fit.

The U.S. Sun recently spoke to the show’s staff hairstylists, Jerilynn Stephens and Darbie Wieczorak, who noted that the revolving door of coaches kept people tuning in.

“Things that contribute to the people coming back to the show… would be the coaches changing,” Jerilynn explained.

“I think that the contestants are always new and fresh – new faces.

“And then having Dan + Shay for the double chair, that’s a really cool new experience.”

Jerilynn also pointed out that the show is “constantly evolving” and that “everyone’s always replaceable.”

Meanwhile, a source exclusively told The U.S. Sun last month that Blake, 47, is considering returning to the show following his exit after 23 seasons.

The God’s Country singer had been a coach on The Voice since its inception in 2011 before deciding to step away.

“Blake may have said his time on the show is over, but he has not closed the door for good,” the insider revealed.

“He would come back to the show if Gwen was invited too, and then they could enjoy working together again.”

Gwen and Blake, who got married in July 2021, met as coaches on The Voice in 2014.

Even returning coach, John, revealed that Blake would most likely return if Gwen was by his side.

However, some viewers are convinced the long-running show is going downhill as it struggles to compete with America’s Got Talent.

The U.S. Sun previously revealed that the rival shows are “fighting it out” to be the top-ranked on the network.

A source shared that the battle would get more intense when AGT returns later this month.
