Jennifer Aniston bursts into tears on the phone while filming The Morning Show

Jennifer Aniston was spotted in New York on the verge of a breakdown in the paparazzi photos that captured her outside of the New York City Public Library

Actress Jennifer Aniston was spotted being overtaken with emotion while she was recently out in New York.

The Friends alum, 55, seemed to be in an intense phone conversation in the paparazzi photos that captured her outside of the New York Public Library on Monday. Jennifer looked stylish in a low-cut sleeveless black dress that hugged her fit figure, but from her facial expressions, she looked stressed. Whatever was said in the phone conversation must’ve been enough to make her upset because she was pictured busting out into tears.

Thankfully, what was saddening her had to do with a show she was filming and not her personal life.

Jennifer was caught outside of the New York Public Library on July 29 filming a scene on location for her Apple TV Series The Morning Show. Right now the Horrible Bosses actor is filming for the show’s fourth season.

In addition to crying outside of the New York Public Library, Jen was also seen soaking from black liquid that splashed over her white blouse, face, and glossy hair. Once again the incident was her performing a scene in the fictional daytime series where she portrays the character Alexandra “Alex” Levy.

Images showed Jennifer surrounded by background actors in what looked to be strike action and protest scenes for the forthcoming series. Jennifer looked furious after her crisp white shirt was destroyed with the black liquid.

Apple TV hasn’t divulged when they’d be releasing new episodes of The Morning Show; however, they’re expected to come to the streamer in 2025.

Previously detailing working with her co-star Reese Witherspoon on the show, Jennifer told Variety in 2023: “We’ve been in each other’s lives for 20-something years. It’s just in our DNA that we are collaborators. We’re partners. We’re friends. We’re girlfriends, we share all sorts of heartbreaks in life and love and everything.”

Touching on the possibility of a time jump in Season Four, Reese told the outlet: “I think so, just because it takes us so long. They write for so long, and have brand new storylines that are happening. I think we’re a little behind in time, too.

Jennifer added: “And our show tends to mirror what is actually happening in the world. As Witherspoon continued: “Yeah, so as things come up while they’re writing, they’ll put them into the story. Jennifer confirmed production had started on the new series in an Instagram post this month, writing: “Let @themorningshow season 4 games begin. Here we come.”
