The 25-year-old songwriter from Nashville, TN is the granddaughter of famed country crooner Loretta Lynn.

Following Emmy’s Top 5 performance of “Carried Me with You,” judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie showered her with praises. Katy told her she deserved to be “out front center,” Luke noted how she’s “growing so much right in front of [their] eyes,” and Lionel urged her to remember the word “confidence” because it’ll help her blow the audience “away.”
