“She Is Kind of Crazy”: Deion Sanders Humiliated Ex-Wife Pilar to Stop Shilo From Talking to Her After $11.8M Tussle

Shilo Sanders is currently entangled in an inextricable mess. One that has bankrupted him after draining out $11.8 million off him. The dirty past of Shilo Sanders, back from his high school days at the TripleA Academy, has found him in the middle and settled the records. It all started back in 2015. The former Yankees prospect turned high school baseball coach and security official John Darjеan took Shilo Sanders into in-school suspension since he had violated the academy’s no-phone policy, per the Court documents. Little did Shilo know then that it would ignite the long-brewing vengeance between his parents, especially from his dad, Deion Sanders.

Shilo Sanders called up his mother Pilar instead of contacting his father, Deion Sanders. However, it didn’t take Prime too long to connect with his son through his assistant. Hence, when Deion was told that his son was on a call with his mother, it enraged him. So much so that he asked DeJean to confiscate Shilo’s phone. This was when Shilo Sanders hit DeJean, but that is not the focal point here. It’s Deion Sanders’ anger towards his ex-wife Pilar Sanders.

During his interview with Jason Whitlock of ‘Fearless’, Dejean iterated how he didn’t see through the ‘volatile’ relationship of Deion Sanders and Pilar then as much as he does now. “You have no idea my ex-wife is kind of cuckoo. She’s kind of crazy you have no idea,” Dejean said, reporting the words of Deion Sanders. This might be a known fact, but what Dejean, the victim of Shilo’s assault, revealed next stunned everyone.

“Deion’s motivation isn’t really about Shilo as much as it is about the dispute between him and Pilar and stopping Shilo from communicating with his mother,” Dejean said, iterating how Deion Sanders was ‘really, really‘ against Pilar. “He didn’t like Pilar at all. That’s what it was all about. Shilo wanted to live with his mother. Deion Sanders was like, no ‘I have his custody’. His mom is not allowed to be talking to him. She just got out of jail or something,” Dejean revealed.

Even now, the two have remained tightlipped about the fiasco. The tension between them, however, dates back to 2013, when the couple filed for their messy divorce and custody case.

Deion Sanders and Pilar’ ugly custody case

Deion Sanders and his ex-wife had their custody trial at the Collin County court. It only took about three hours for the Collin County jury to return with a decision. 11 of the 12 jurors signed off on the decision deciding the fate of the three Sanders kids.

The couple was given the joint conservatorship of their daughter Shelomi Sanders, but the responsibility of their two sons, Shedeur and Shilo Sanders, was given the Deion Sanders under sole conservatorship. The respective conservators had the right to make basic decisions for their children, like their residence, education, and extracurricular activities. Although Pilar had visitation rights.

During one such visitation, Pilar refused to give their children back to her father when the time was up. Along with that, she alleged that Sanders had physically assaulted one of their sons, kicking and punching him. When the matter was dragged to the court under defamation trial, some serious drama unfolded. When Pilar Sanders was asked her name, it invited a contempt of court ruling. She was immediately sentenced to 7 days in jail, along with the penalty of paying $1 million to Deion Sanders for defamation.
