Although Jordan eclipsed his best collaborator, Scottie Pippen would’ve been one of the biggest stars in the league on his own for any other team. But that combination of those two with Dennis Rodman’s defensive prowess is the main reason these Chicago Bulls won two three-peats. Simply put, there was a time in which Jordan and Pippen dominated the NBA without any real opposition. We apologize if this triggers Utah Jazz fans but you can’t deny the truth. As it turns out, Pippen’s 2021 book ‘Unguarded‘ has some controversial excerpts that Michael Jordan’s fans are starting to make viral online. Scottie talks about scorekeepers in the NBA inflating Jordan’s stats to help him win individual trophies. He writes: “Say I deflected the ball and tapped it over to [MJ]. I should get the credit with the steal, right? Nope. More often than not, the steal went into his column in the stat sheet and I could do nothing about it… One night a scorekeeper came into the locker room… to hand the stat sheets to Phil Jackson… I couldn’t believe the look the guy gave Michael: ‘See MJ, we take care of you’.”

Within the biggest names of history’s best athletes, his name is always fighting for the No. 1 poition against other great legends.
