She still knows how to make a man’s heart race…
Dolly Parton was recently featured on Post Malone’s debut country album F-1 Trillion, on a song called “Have The Heart,” which made my top 10 list of favorite songs from the record, and it goes without saying that I’ve had it on repeat.
I knew that would probably be the case, and I can’t get enough of the two of them together. It seems like they have as much chemistry in real life as they do on the song too, because Posty has been sharing some clips of their meeting that are just precious.
He told her to let him know if he needed “anything in the world,” and Dolly said she was “cool” because of him, so yeah, they pretty much instantly hit it off:
They always come across as so kind-hearted and down-to-earth, a rarity in the music industry (especially for two mega stars like both of them), so I’m not all that surprised that they had an easy connection, honestly.
And not only did Post get to meet one of the world’s greatest and most iconic musicians, but Mrs. Dolly had his heart racin’ and he seemed pretty overwhelmed by it all, saying:
“You are amazing. I’m so… I can’t even believe it. My heart’s beating so fast.”
She then proceeded to grab his arms and put them around her waist, right under two of her most famous assets, so yeah… Posty just out here living every man’s dream and clearly (and rightfully) enjoying every minute of it.
Dolly continues to prove that age is just a number, and here’s another perfect example:
And if you haven’t heard the duet yet, go ahead and give it a spin:

Post Malone’s Debut Country Album ‘F-1 Trillion’ Debuts At #1 On Billboard 200 All-Genre Chart
His first #1 country album.
A little over a week ago, Post Malone dropped his debut country project F-1 Trillion, in addition to an extended edition called F-1 Trillion (Long Bed), which featured nine solo songs.
And as of this weekend, all of the debut week numbers are in, and as predicted, Post officially scored his first #1 country album on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, in addition to leading the Top Country Albums chart (his first entry there), as well as the Top Streaming Albums and Top Album Sales too.
The Billboard Top 200 Albums chart is an all-genre chart that encompasses albums from pop, rap, hip hop and more, and it’s Posts’s sixth top 10 and third #1 there. It’s been a while since he sat at the top of the chart, though, the last time being in 2019, when his Hollywood’s Bleeding record was at #1 for five weeks.
Post’s first #1 album on the all-genre albums chart was his iconic Beerbongs & Bentleys record, which was #1 for three weeks back in 2018.
According to Billboard, Post moved an impressive 250,000 units in total during the first week, with 212.86 million on-demand streams and 80,000 pure sales.
It marks the second-largest week for any country album in 2024, with Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter opening with 407,000 units when it was released in April.
Post is clearly off to a helluva start with this whole country venture, and I’ve had the album on repeat over the last week or so. I really liked it initially, but it has grown on me more and more over time and I am really loving F-1 Trillion more than I even thought I would.
Post worked with some of the best writers in Nashville, and spent a ton of time in Music City learning the ropes and figuring out how a country album is really made. I think that in and of itself put him miles ahead of any other pop artist wanting to “go country,” and at the very least showed his genuine respect and admiration for the genre.
Of course, in addition to the album itself being a huge hit overall, Post and Morgan Wallen scored a crossover, multi-week #1 hit with the lead single “I Had Some Help,” which helped kickstart the whole endeavor in a massive way.
Congrats to Post Malone on a hugely successful first country album, and if you haven’t yet, I highly recommend checking it out, especially the impressive nine solo songs on F-1 Trillion (Long Bed).
Even though Posty was already a massive star and extremely successful musician, jumping into an entirely new genre is no easy feat and the way he’s done it, and made it look so effortless, has been incredibly fun to watch and admire from afar.
