Fed Up With Hypocrisy Over ‘Sexy’ Content, Paige Spiranac Slams ‘Conservative’ Golf Industry For Awful Experiences
Paige Spiranac has often called out the double standards she faces as a golf content creator. The diva had previously been criticized for her attire choices and the brand she portrays on social media. Most times, the brand does not sit well with many in the golf world, including the fans and the businesses.
In a recent Q&A session on her Instagram story, Spiranac was asked if she had missed out on any opportunities because of her “sexualized” image. The 31-year-old explained how things usually work with the brands she deals with while revealing that she has at times lost deals because of double standards in the industry.
In her story, Paige Spiranac explained that “golf is a conservative industry,” and sometimes she loses opportunities because the company’s values don’t align with her image. But the 30-year-old doesn’t take this personally. Spiranac further expressed that she also has brands she wouldn’t work with because it doesn’t align with her community, so that equals it out.

However, things start to get problematic when a brand rejects her because the content Spiranac presents is “too riské,” the diva said. On the other hand, the same brand might be working with “a male creator with actually problematic content,” Spiranac shared.
The SI model then divulged that her content might be sexy but is not problematic. She explained to her community and said, “I just have b**bs and I like to be sexy, and that makes people uncomfortable. So feels like there’s a double standard sometimes about what is expectable and what is not,” as Spiranac tries to understand which brand might support her and which might not.
But it has not been just brands who have been negative towards Spiranac. In a recent Instagram story, the golf diva revealed a hateful Instagram DM that gave a glimpse into Spiranac’s glamorous yet often problematic life.
Paige Spirance received vile hate messages
In one of her previous Q&A sessions, Paige Spirnac was asked about the different kinds of hate she may receive from men and women. To which Spiranac explained that the hate from men would usually be about her physical appearance which she could get over with. However, the 30-year-old dismally said, the hate she gets from women, would usually be “most vile, hurtful, like emotionally abusive hate you can get that goes straight for the jugular.”
Spiranac then shared a DM from a woman who disparaged the IG model and said, “You are really f**king it up for the rest of us who don’t feel good about showing our t*ts and a*es to men in a place where it’s not even necessary to dress up to get their attention.” Whereas a man told her that people “just like her t*ts.” After showing the drastic difference between a man’s and a woman’s comment, Spiranac emphasized the need for more women’s empowerment.
The diva wanted women to know that “We need to uplift each other not stab each other in the back!” Spiranac, though, has solidified her stance that despite the hate, she will always be her and speak her truth!
