Maren Morris On Dating Apps

Maren Morris unexpectedly filed for divorce from her husband Ryan Hurd in October 2023 after five years of marriage. The divorce was finalized just three months later. The former couple settled on a joint custody agreement for their son, Hayes.

The country singer celebrated Pride Month in 2024 by coming out as bisexual. She opened up earlier this month about dating again after divorce.

Maren Morris was the latest celebrity to take part in Cosmopolitan‘s no-holds-barred “Cheap Shots” video series. She had to answer tough questions or take a shot of alcohol.

She addressed the viral tweet that sparked a feud with Jason Aldean’s wife.

At one point in the game, the “My Church” singer revealed that she has been on several dates since her divorce and even tried the dating app Raya.

Disastrous Date With Celebrity

Raya is a popular subscription-based dating app that caters to celebrities. According to Maren Morris, she matched with an unnamed celebrity and went on multiple dates with them, but it didn’t work out. Why not?

“They were, like, really love bomb-y. I went on, like, two dates with them, and it was just not fun. I feel like I’m talking to my mother or something, like, ‘Why don’t you text me back?’ Because I’ve been on two dates with you and I’m on tour. I’m working.”

Needless to say, there wasn’t a third date.

Singer Gets Backlash For DNC Performance

Apparently, some people who listen to Maren Morris’ music weren’t aware that she leans left politically. She was invited to perform at the last night of the 2024 Democratic National Convention.

She shared photos and videos on social media of her glam team prepping her makeup for the event. Many of her followers praised her for the performance. But one disgruntled fan wrote, “DNC? Oh lord no. Bye Maren.”

Another added, “Hate to say u have lost many fans.” There were also multiple comments touting “Trump 2024.” However, Maren Morris didn’t respond to the haters.
