Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie XO, is opening up about her ongoing health scare. In a series of videos posted to snapchat, she revealed that the results of a recent MRA indicate that she might have “an internal carotid artery aneurysm.”

Since she opted out of getting the contrast with her most recent test, she explained that the doctors couldn’t get a clear image and as a result, “It can’t be ruled out, but it’s not confirmed, and it’s not denied.”

Sharing Her Honest Feelings

Bunnie XO was trying to put on a brave face for her face, however she admitted that this is “pretty scary stuff” and that she had been crying and saying a lot of prayers after hearing the initial results of the MRA. In another post on Facebook, Bunnie disclosed that she is claustrophobic meaning having to undergo an MRI/MRA was a pretty fearful moment in itself, that she proudly conquered.

She then said that she has been “studying a lot” about her possible diagnosis and requested that anyone who has experience with what she’s going through to leave helpful comments that might bring her a bit of peace of mind during this time.

“It seems like a lot of people in their sixties have this. So the fact that I have this at such a young age is crazy. But God’s brought me this far, so there’s always a reason in the season, so we will figure it out…And this will just be another notch on the bad bitch belt,” she continued. “I’m a really fu**ing scared and stressed out about it. But I know God’s got me, dude. He didn’t bring me this far to just fu**ing bring me this far. So I got a lot of shit I got do still, so I’m reading up on it too.”

Next Steps

Through her research, the host of the Dumb Blonde Podcast host has found that there are many different types of carotid artery aneurysms. She revealed that her mom had one previously, but she believes it was not a carotid artery one.

“Hers was right on her brainstem and hers actually ruptured somehow. The crazy old bird lived. Not a very meaningful life, but she lived,” she joked.

Bunnie went on to explain that her next steps include seeing a to a neurosurgeon to get a CT scan with contrast to get a more solid answer. If she is confirmed to have an internal carotid artery aneurysm, then she will have to move forward with a surgery.
