The country crooner didn’t hold back on his opinion of the pop star.
Jelly Roll is making it clear how he feels about Taylor Swift.
The country crooner didn’t hold back recently while speaking about his opinion on the pop star, specifically praising the “Lavender Haze” singer’s “philanthropic efforts” in his hometown of Nashville, Tenn.
While chatting with CMT in a video shared via TikTok on Wednesday, July 3, the “Wild Ones” artist talked about his encounter with Swift and what he most appreciates about her as a person.
“I’m a fly on a bull’s butt compared to Taylor Swift,” he hilariously quipped. “But for her to come over and just say ‘Hi’… you know, she’s proudly from Nashville, and I love her philanthropic efforts in Nashville.”
The Tortured Poets Department hitmaker was born in West Reading, Pa., but moved to the Tennessee capital when she was around 14, and the location clearly holds a special place in her heart.
Continuing to explain a specific way the 34-year-old has made an impact, Jelly Roll added, “I’ve pushed my daughter on a swing set she built for the kids in Hendersonville before, so it was really cool to just get to tell her that.”

In the comments, fans applauded the “kind” nature of the “Save Me” singer, while others took the opportunity to call for a joint project between the two music stars.
“Jelly is my favorite country star and person on tik Tok so positive and accomplished with all his roadblocks smashed 💪💯💙🙏,” one noted.
“He is so kind. I’ve never heard him really say anything negative. ♥️👏♥️,” another stated, while a third campaigned, “I am here for Taylor to do a colab [sic] with Jelly like she did with Post [Malone].”
For now, only time will tell if these two will join together for a song to make fans’ wishes come true!
