In a stunning revelation, Australian singer Firerose Cyrus has opened up about her tumultuous relationship with country star Billy Ray Cyrus, alleging a series of disturbing abuses that have left fans in shock. Firerose, 36, described how the father of Miley Cyrus turned her dream of an “epic love story” into a nightmare of control and isolation.

“He would rage at me, shout at me at the top of his lungs,” Firerose claimed speaking to Page Six. “He would terrify me, yelling, ‘You stupid dumb f*cking b*tch, crazy w**ore.'” The abuse, she says, started soon after she moved to Billy Ray’s Tennessee home in 2022.

Despite his promises of a fairy-tale romance, Firerose found herself cut off from friends and family, with strict rules governing her every move. “It was systematic isolation, and I couldn’t find the courage to leave,” she revealed.

Their relationship began in 2010 when Firerose, then 22, met Billy Ray, 48, on the set of “Hannah Montana.” Reconnecting in 2020 to record a duet, Billy Ray convinced her they were “soulmates.” However, Firerose was shocked when his then-wife Tish filed for divorce in April 2022, as Billy Ray had led her to believe they were already separated.

Cyrus’ systematic abuse

The stress of their relationship took a severe toll on Firerose’s health. She fainted two days before their wedding in October 2023 and suffered debilitating migraines.

“I withdrew… I was afraid to talk,” she said. Despite these issues, they married at their farm, but Firerose described the day as devoid of joy due to Billy Ray’s control over the guest list.

The situation reached a breaking point when Firerose, diagnosed with the BRCA1 gene mutation, scheduled a double mastectomy. On the day of her surgery, Billy Ray allegedly kicked her out and filed for divorce. “I would never treat another human being so cruelly,” Firerose said, recounting the heartbreak.

Billy Ray has denied the accusations

In response, Miley Cyrus’ father denied the allegations and accused Firerose of fraud, claiming she used him to boost her music career. He alleged she isolated him from his family and was abusive towards him, a claim Firerose vehemently denies, calling it a “smear campaign.”

Firerose, now living with a friend in Tennessee, decided to speak out to support other survivors of domestic abuse. “If I can’t use my public platform, then what chance does anybody have?” she stated.
