Country music star Carly Pearce is setting the record straight about rumors that she worships the devil.

On Wednesday, the 34-year-old reshared an X post from CMA Fest including a photo of Pearce standing in a parking space labeled “668,” but many believed read “666,” Taste of Country reported.

“I’ve seen too many comments about this being some sort of ‘hint’ towards 666 or satan,” Pearce wrote on X

“First of all, this was the parking spot for my tour bus at CMA fest & I believe it is 668,” the singer continued. “I am a devout Christian who takes PRIDE in using my platform to point people towards JESUS. So, for anyone wondering … there are absolutely ZERO underlying messages except a girl excited to be playing the big stage.”

Several people praised Pearce for addressing the rumors, with one person commenting, “It’s ridiculous that you were put in a position where you felt like you had to clarify something like this. Love you.”

Another wrote, “Girl you don’t have to explain yourself. Real ones know you and know damn well you aren’t that way and know who you are and above all else who you love and follow!”

Pearce performed at Nissan Stadium at CMA Fest on the fourth and final day of the festival on Sunday, June 9. The Grammy Award-winning singer played hits like “Next Girl,” “What He Didn’t Do” as well as solo versions of her duets “We Don’t Fight Anymore” with Chris Stapleton and “I Hope You’re Happy Now” with Lee Brice, The Tennessean Reported.
