The singer, who released her Brat album in early June, previously wrote the title on a bright green wall in New York City to promote the release.

However, Charli, 31, changed the word “brat,” written in black, to say “ok, bye!” in all lowercase letters.

Seeming as if the I Love It hitmaker had officially ended her “brat era,” some fans were scared of what the updated phrase could mean for her new album.

On Monday night, Charli put fans at ease with a few tweets regarding the marketing move.

“Brat summer is only just beginning,” she clarified, along with a smile emoji.

The pop star also reposted a news outlet that reported on her “ending her ‘brat’ era,” clarifying that the wall change had nothing to do with the new album.

“Well no just goodbye brat wall.. rip brat wall you will always be famous,” Charli wrote.

Fans have had a strong reaction to the mural’s change, with one responding that Charli had left them “so scared.”

“Ummmmm no…. Don’t play in our face, we are not done yet miss Charli!” a second tweeted at first.

“What happened to having a brat summer.. omg,” another wrote.

After the English singer eased fans, some began to speculate that she may have been hinting at what’s to come on a possible deluxe album.
