Who will win at the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards?

NBC and Peacock announced the complete list of nominations for this year’s People’s Choice Country Awards on Aug. 14. Zach Bryan leads the pack with the most nods, while other top nominees include Beyoncé, Kacey Musgraves, Shaboozey, Kane Brown, Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs.

The annual country music awards show launched last year, and several new categories have been added to the event this time around: female song, male song, group / duo song, cover song, new artist song and storyteller song.

At the inaugural 2023 ceremony, Jelly Roll emerged as the night’s top winner with four awards, followed by Wallen with three. The late Toby Keith was honored with the country icon award just a few months before his death at age 62 in February, while Wynonna Judd took home the special country champion award.

Shania Twain will serve as host for the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards, which will air live across NBC and Peacock on Sept. 26 at 8 p.m. ET/PT from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.

“Country has some of the most passionate fans in music and us artists are so lucky to be supported in doing what we love,” said Twain in a statement upon her hosting gig’s announcement last month. “I am honored to host an award show that celebrates these awesome fans.”

The Grammy winner — who’s nominated for the concert tour of 2024 with her latest Las Vegas residency — added at the time, “Get ready for an unforgettable show with lots of big hair, glamour, rhinestones, hats, boots and incredible performances. Giddy up!”
