Legend’s daughter Luna might have a budding career in journalism
John Legend’s daughter might have a future career in journalism.
The EGOT winner, 45, brought his two older kids Miles, 6, and Luna, 8, as he attended the finale of The Voice. Speaking with Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet, Luna adorably interviewed her dad on behalf of the outlet.
“Why do you think that Team Legend is going to win?” Luna asks.
“Because we have some amazing singers. And your favorite performance, when you guys came last time, was Nathan. And he’s going to be performing today and it’s going to be even better than the last time,” Legend answers.
For her next question, Luna asks, “How are you celebrating after the finale? Is there a party at your house?”
“Well, we’re going to celebrate here, on the studio campus with all of the producers and everybody, and the crew that made the show happen,” Legend says. “And we’re going to bring lots of my wine, LVE, we’re bringing donuts, and we’re going to have a nice celebration here.”
When asked at the end of the chat if she liked being an interviewer, Luna says, “Sure, yeah.” But when asked if she wanted a full-time job at ET, Luna bluntly said no.
Legend shares his four kids — Wren, 10 months, Esti, 16 months, Miles and Luna — with wife Chrissy Teigen, 38.
Earlier this month, Legend brought Luna and Miles along with him as he filmed for the popular singing competition. His sweet Instagram post began with an adorable shot of the pair getting comfortable as they shared the seat. Luna proudly held up a peace sign and flashed a big grin while Miles simply smiled at the camera.
In a second photo, Legend and Teigen’s daughter could be seen sticking her tongue out playfully to the camera while Miles smiled with his arms at his sides.
The proud father completed the trio of shots with a family photo of him in the red seat as he hugged Luna and Miles while they sat on his lap. “My favorite coaching advisors joined me for the first night of #TheVoiceLives!,” Legend captioned the post.
