Speaking about Amy Winehouse, Adele gave this talented but ill-fated singer some touching words: “In our universe, there are some artists with natural talent who always shine brightly in the sky of art. They are bright stars, even after they pass away, they still leave deep, indelible marks on the world”.

The owner of the hit Hello revealed that she and Amy Winehouse were not close friends. They only attended the same school for a short time, but she loved the late singer very much and was also a big fan of Amy.
“If it weren’t for Amy and Frank (Amy’s debut studio album), I wouldn’t have written Daydreamer, Hometown or Someone Like You”, the 27-year-old singer said.

At Amy Winehouse’s funeral, Adele was also present and was very emotional when she saw the coffin of the famous British singer. She confided: “I was very sad because I knew that I would never hear her voice again, the way she sang to me before”.
Like Adele, Amy Winehouse is the golden girl of the British music industry when she was the first British artist in history to win 5 Grammy awards. However, due to the consequences of drug and alcohol abuse at a very young age, Amy Winehouse suddenly passed away from alcohol poisoning on July 23, 2011. She passed away when she was only 27 years old.
Her album Back to Black later became one of the best-selling albums of the 21st century in the UK. In 2012, Amy Winehouse ranked 26th on VH1’s list of the 100 greatest female artists in music. The BBC called her “the voice of a generation”.
