RIHANNA fans have expressed their shock and disappointment after the singer performed to a half-empty Wembley Stadium last night.
The world-famous pop star brought her ANTi World Tour to London for one-night only, but unfortunately, she ended up performing to a half-empty venue.
Fans attending the concert took to Twitter to share their surprise at the singer’s inability to fill all the seats at the venue.
One wrote: “Rihanna was lots of fun. It was… rather empty. But lots of fun.”
Another added: “The stadium is empty for Rihanna. I’m so confused.”

One user, who goes by the name of beyfan1981 – clearly a Beyonce fan- said she felt bad for the star and wrote: “I can’t believe I am saying this, but I actually feel bad for Rihanna after seeing that empty stadium.”
Another implied that she might have overshot herself on the choice of venue and wrote: “Still can’t believe how many empty seats were at Wembley for Rihanna. Crazy
“Definitely should stick to doing arenas!”

One even suggested the steep price of the tickets was the reason behind the empty seatsCredit: Twitter
One fan even wondered if the ticket prices – an average of £75 – was the reason she hadn’t managed to reach capacity.
He wrote: “People on about how empty Rihanna concert was at Wembley Stadium. Did you not see the prices??”
The half-empty venue will only fuel fans’ fears about the star, who arrived half an hour late and then broke down on stage.
Rihanna also tested fans’ patience when she was 30 minutes late again and rarely spoke to the audience before disappearing backstage for ten minutes leaving them bereft.

And if that wasn’t bad enough, she also berated the audience for being on their phones – although she had no objection to them taking pictures of her.
According to fans attending the gig, halfway through her set she stopped the music and said: “I don’t want you texting on your phone, not to your boyfriend, not your girlfriend, not yo baby mamas. I only want you on your phone if you’re taking pictures of ME!”
