John Legend is having fun with his baby boy!
On Thursday, June 19, the singer-songwriter, 46, marked the second birthday of his son Wren Alexander by sharing a tribute to him on Instagram.
“Our Juneteenth birthday boy Wren is living his best life. The beach + beep-beeps = BLISS,” Legend’s caption read alongside a photo of the toddler playing at the beach.
In the photo, Wren appeared to be in good spirits as he grinned while sitting in the sand in a white and green striped outfit.
He was also surrounded by toy tractors and garden utensils.
In addition to Wren, Legend shares daughter Luna Simone, 9, son Miles Theodore, 7, and daughter Esti Maxine, 2, with wife Chrissy Teigen.
The “Ordinary” singer’s Instagram post comes after his wife shared a touching carousel on Father’s Day.
Sharing a post to honor Legend, the Instagram carousel featured many moments of the father with his four children, including him painting and going kart racing with Miles.
He was also captured reading a book with his boys before posing for group snaps that included Teigen and their children.
The sweet post then concluded with him kissing his wife while she sported baby bump.
“our everything !,” Teigen wrote in the caption.
Back in September 2024, Legend opened up to PEOPLE about raising his younger children, compared to how he and Teigen raised the older ones.
“We are definitely more relaxed in general, so we’re not as stressed,” he said at the time. “Even though you still have to do the work, none of it is as intimidating or worrying as it used to be. You’re not nervous about it. You’re like, ‘I got this.'”
