According to several sources, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s marriage is notably on the rocks, and people have been looking for signs that it might be ending.

Jennifer Lopez is marking her 55th birthday a little early.

The singer and actress decided to have a Bridgerton-themed birthday party in the Hamptons, and some of her closest friends and family members were on the guest list.

The party was held on Saturday in the Hamptons, and while a picture of the birthday girl was not seen, pictures of the gathering gained steam online. The party was complete with a horse-drawn carriage, lavish furniture which had arrived specifically for the party as well as multiple orders of flowers.

Lopez’s mother, Guadalupe Rodríguez, was present at the occasion and dressed in a blue dress with ruffle details that paired with matching blue shoes. Alongside her mother, was a guest wearing a similar dress, and a male guest who wore an outfit much like men would wear in Shona Rhime’s hit period drama series.

While Lopez’s birthday is officially on July 24th, the singer celebrated it a few days earlier. While Lopez and her twins, Max and Emme, were not pictured at the occasion, it is said that they were there. However, Ben Affleck and his children, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel were missing from the festivities.

While Lopez did not herself post anything from her birthday, she made sure to post earlier in the day a series of pictures, with the caption manifesting a good day for herself.

The caption read, “Today is gonna be a great day 🤍🙏🏼 Happy Saturday everybody ☀️”

It seems that Affleck and Lopez have been marking several milestones apart. Last week, the couple celebrated the two-year anniversary of their Las Vegas wedding while on different coasts of the country.

Lopez was seen riding her bike and cruising in her car with her longtime manager and friend, Benny Medina. While Affleck was spotted in Los Angeles in a black suit and his wedding ring still on his finger.

The couple’s second anniversary of their second wedding, which was bigger, is also approaching on August 20th. The couple has however, been living apart for quite a while according to rumors. They have even listed their $68 million Beverly Hills home for sale and Lopez went on vacation to Europe on her own.

A source has recently revealed that that the couple “are trying to make this transition as easy as possible and be gentle on their children. They don’t want to make things more upsetting than they already have been.”

One of the children who might be particularly affected by the split is likely Violet Affleck, as it seems she has made quite a close bond with her stepmother. According to a source, the two “have gotten close throughout Jen and Ben’s relationship, and maintaining that closeness is important to everyone.”

Recently JLo even posted about a girls hang she was doing and Violet was sitting in the car alongside her.

The source shared, “Ben certainly doesn’t want to cause any strain between Jen and Violet, and he is in support of them spending time together. It’s a little tricky for him, but both Jen and Ben want all their kids to be happy, regardless of the issues they are facing in their marriage.”
