With 9 nominations received at the 2023 Grammys, Beyonce has equaled her husband, rapper Jay-Z, as the most nominated artists of all time for this award.

Up to this point, Beyonce and Jay-Z both have a total of 88 nominations for music awards at the Grammys. In the newly announced nomination list of Grammy 2023, Jay-Z received 5 nominations for his contributions to Renaissance and DJ Khaled’s song, “God Did”.

In 2021, Jay-Z received a total of 83 nominations, surpassing former Beatle member Paul McCartney. However, at the 2023 awards ceremony, the “Run This Town” artist met his well-matched wife Beyonce.

Beyonce’s album “Renaissance” was nominated for Album of the Year and her song “Be Alive,” which appeared in the movie “King Richard,” received an R&B nomination. This year, Beyonce was nominated in multiple categories, most notably her chart-topping song “Break My Soul” which earned nominations for Song and Record of the Year.

Beyonce is currently the female artist with the most Grammy awards with a total of 28 golden gramophone records. Meanwhile, Jay-Z took home 24 golden gramophone records.

The all-time Grammy record is currently held by the late Hungarian classical conductor Georg Solti. During his career, he won 31 gramophone records in 35 years.
