These two Game of Thrones actor were once never in the same room at the same time after a bad-breakup.
From the epic fights at the Wall to the politics of the Iron Throne, Game of Thrones is rightly placed among the greatest works of fiction. Based on the work by George R.R. Martin, the story of Westeros takes fans to the constant struggle for power among the noble houses.

Beyond the battles and dragons, the story is also known for the complexity of human emotions. These same themes, it seems, weren’t confined only to the script.

Jerome Flynn played the role of Bronn in Game of Thrones, where he was a huge admirer of Tyrion Lannister, the brother of Lena Headey‘s Cersei Lannister. However, one may notice that Bronn and Cersei almost never share the screen in the series.
Rumors swirled that Headey and Flynn, once romantically involved, couldn’t be in the same room together due to a bitter break-up. Their paths first crossed on the set of Soldier Soldier in 1993, and their relationship continued until 2004. However, things allegedly turned sour, leaving a trail of “very turbulent” emotions, as per The Sun.
“Lena and Jerome have not filmed together [on “Thrones”] due to a bad break-up, ” “They kept the full extent of it secret but it was a very turbulent relationship and it has been very awkward on set … [Lena] appears to have a genuine hate towards [Jerome].”
This tension reportedly spilled over onto the set of Game of Thrones, making filming scenes together a challenge. Some sources even claimed stipulations were written into contracts to ensure Headey and Flynn wouldn’t share a scene. Per The Telegraph, the two did not even share a room after their breakup.
“Jerome and Lena aren’t on speaking terms any more and they are never in the same room at the same time,” “It’s a pity because they appeared to have patched things up for a while, but now the word is they should be kept apart at all costs.”
Fortunately, the behind-the-scenes drama between Headey and Flynn didn’t seem to impact the quality of Game of Thrones. More importantly, the two talented performers have moved on from their past relationship and are living happy lives.
Jerome Flynn Is All Praise For Lena Headey After Their Break-Up

While rumors of a fiery off-screen feud between Headey and Flynn dominated during Game of Thrones‘ reign, the actor might have to say otherwise. Jerome Flynn discussed the relationship at Nashville’s Con of Thrones, per Hindustan Times.
A fan inquired about the supposed tension, and Flynn’s response was rather pleasant. He offered nothing but praise for Headey, calling her “a wonderful person and a wonderful actress.” Further, he clarified that the two actors had indeed shared the screen together during the HBO series.
“We were actually in the same scene together,” “And the last time I saw Lena we were speaking, so I wouldn’t believe everything you read and… (the media) can get pretty desperate for stories. Lena’s a wonderful person and a wonderful actress.”
While Flynn’s comments do not clarify how good their relationship was during the shooting of the show, it is evident that the two are on better terms now and have mutual respect for each other.
