Fan proposes a new position for Gavi – he has never played there for Barca before

On Barcelona subreddit, a user named TimelyAdagio6051 asked where should Gavi and Pedri play if Hansi Flick decides to implement his 4-2-3-1 formation in Barcelona. He also proposed a new position for Gavi:

“Where should Gavi and Pedri play in Hansi Flick 4-2-3-1?

“Gavi is a better shooter than Pedri and I think he should come in at a rotation at the 10 position because he is a great at counter pressing and is a better finisher than Pedri. I think that Gundo, Gavi and Fermin should be the first options at this postion with Pedri utilizing his passing range as a deep lying playmaker.”

This is a really interesting opinion, although Gavi has never played as a clear number 10 for Barca. He played there once for Barca B and once for Spain U18 – however, both of these experiences happened 3 years ago. Playing as a 10 for Barca now would be completely different.
